I will soon have to transport my car long-distance, and I am worried about its safety.
Has anyone encountered this before? What are some tips for preparing a car for transportation? How to minimize the risk of damage and what should be checked upon receipt?

When transporting a car in a container, it's important to choose a durable cover that will protect it from dust and moisture. Breathable, multi-layer models with a soft lining are best suited. For interstate car transport take clear photos of your Stelvio before pickup, note existing scratches, and remove personal items. An AirTag is smart for tracking, but also get the driver's contact info. On delivery, inspect for damage before signing anything. Open haulers are generally safe, but a quick post-trip check is always a good idea.
